Yup the crazy season is upon us.
I'm finding people are stressed, tired and slowly starting to unwind. I
think that it's a good time to reflect on the year but also plan for the
upcoming year.
I've had countless conversations
in the last couple of months about people wanting to "do" all
these really cool things, yet they keep putting them off.
This month's article is designed
to challenge you about taking some time out to think about what you want to
do on a small scale and putting it into action (we'll have another article on world domination
sometime next year hehe)

Article: Live a Little - Challenge Yourself!

It’s that time of year. People are tired,
they’re run down and they’re starting to unwind and relax,
which is why I thought it’s timely to remind you about challenging
yourself every now and then.
As you know, my training philosophies are about
more than "food and exercise". I believe you need to have a
healthy balance in your life that is realistic and something that you can
maintain. If one aspect of your life is completely out of balance, how long
do you think you can maintain it for?

What is the best
thing about your new lifestyle?
Nicole: Having more energy and motivation!
Mel:
Having more energy and being toned
What has been the hardest thing for you?
Nicole: Recovery. Pulling up sore after our training sessions.
Mel:
Also recovery. Pulling my undies up the next day after one of our training
sessions can be a killer ;)
How have you overcome this?
Nicole: Continue to exercise. I've learnt that it's not always
about intense exercise. Going for a walk or playing basketball etc all
counts and helps me recover
Mel: Staying
active after our sessions by doing more exercise.
What's your biggest accomplishment to date?
Nicole: My butt
looks great and now I have tone and definition (I haven't ever had that
before)
Mel:
I feel good. When I leave work I'm not as stressed or as tired.
